The City and County of Denver Division of Small Business Opportunity’s (DSBO) program is designed to prevent racial and gender-based discrimination and underutilization of small, minority and women-owned businesses. Accordingly, the DSBO promotes the utilization of socially and/or economically disadvantaged businesses in professional services, construction, construction-related, concessions, goods, and services through its certification program and City contracting activities.
Firms certified under the applicable program are eligible to meet the specified EBE/MWBE/SBE/SBEC participation requirements on
locally funded City contracting activities:
- Emerging Business Enterprise (EBE)
- Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE)
- Small Business Enterprise (SBE)
- Small Business Enterprise Concessionaire (SBEC)
Firms certified under the applicable program are eligible to meet the specified DBE or ACDBE participation requirements on
FHWA, FAA and FTA (federally) funded contracting activities in Colorado. Please note, an agreement between the City and County of Denver and CDOT established a central directory for DBE and ACDBE certification directory.
